"The Unfinished Legacy of Elias Winter"
A mysterious backpack.
A missing urban historian.
And a treasure that was never hidden.
Over 20 years ago, Wiesbaden historian and urban explorer Elias Winter vanished without a trace.
He was known for his obsession with old city maps, hidden symbols on historic buildings, and his theory that Wiesbaden was more than just a city — it was a puzzle, waiting to reveal a hidden treasure.
Elias believed that history, architecture, and language were all connected — and that through careful observation, he had found something that “must never fall into the wrong hands.”
Shortly before his disappearance, he was working on something big. In his last diary entry, he wrote:
“The treasure is ready. The path is clear. Tomorrow is the day.”
But that day never came. Elias died unexpectedly — and the treasure remained undiscovered.
Years later, an unremarkable backpack surfaced in a dusty Wiesbaden basement. Inside: notes, maps, plans, locked boxes, cryptic clues — and a mysterious chest sealed with two locks.
But no hint of where the treasure was to be hidden.
Because Elias never got the chance to hide it.
Now it’s up to you to follow his trail. But only by solving all his riddles will you earn the right to open the chest and uncover Elias' legacy.

Each team will be provided with a tablet to guide you through the game.
Additionally, we kindly ask you to download the Caught App (Apple, Android) on your own smartphones to follow the story closely. -
Please remember: walking through the city for 120 minutes with bulky luggage is not ideal — leave heavy bags at home. Comfortable footwear is highly recommended.
